Canadian currently based semi in Berlin and travelling Europe.

The world is fascinating! :) I dabble in a lot of activities including dance, climbing, acro yoga and a lot of varying art forms - But music, people and connection are the things I am drawn to the most. I am currently completing a certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy and very much want to work to help adults (while helping myself) to find play, openness, comfort with vulnerability, and a sense of safety that too often gets crushed in us as kids - Fostering community, creativity and connection.

I love hearing people's stories and connecting with all kinds of different folks. I am planning on traveling around Europe for the whole year and very excited about it.

I would also absolutely love to find a band to do vocals for and tour around with while I'm there :)

No matter how little I know you, there isn't much I'm not willing to tell you about myself if you really want to know so feel free to enquire!

My general rule of thumb is to try to keep an open mind to change, make sure you're able to laugh at yourself, and be as honest, grateful and forgiving with yourself and others as you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of sharing resources with each other when we have extra, and taking care of each other all over the world. The values of generally having each other's backs as humans and trading skills, ideas and helping each other out whenever we can is really important to me and I love that about this model.

I am looking for places off and on over the next year in different European countries.

Interests

I like small, intimate gatherings with friends, as well as running about in costumes for no reason and dancing around.. I'm trying to learn about 6 instruments right now with mild-ish success. I sing more than anything else. I don't have much money so most of what I do is cheap or free. Swing dancing, blues dancing (Would like to learn salsa again..and just generally be a good all around dancer), acro yoga and climbing I'd love to do more of as well. I got into climbing this year in Canada and would love to do more. Nature adventures, playing in whatever way. I want to learn circus arts - Silks, main a main, aerial hoop, trapeze ect..There is a very long list of things I'd like to learn.

Basically I'm really wanting to explore, be in my body, express myself and connect with others in all the varying ways :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped out of a plane! I've had dreams about flying since I was a little child. I was spending a month on Vancouver island (Which is so beautiful and if you haven't been you should go!) and the opportunity came up so I took it. It was completely incredible. I highly suggest it!

Teach, Learn, Share

You learn something from everything you do and everyone you meet. Everything you encounter creates who you are and the more people you meet and things you experience, the easier it is to be well rounded, understanding and open minded towards yourself and others.

At least that's my two cents about it :)

I write songs and cut hair. So I can write you a song while I cut your hair if you want :P I am also happy to help around the house and am super comfortable listening about/talking about mental health and difficult feelings so happy to be an ear <3
