About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make world smaller by exploring its bigness

ABOUT ME

I'm trying to build up my life with bright memories, places, friends and thoughts. It's really easy with a little help of improvisation.
I'm very open-minded man, though lots of my interests based on books etc I can be simple, enjoying life how it is without sophistications!

PHILOSOPHY

Always look on the bright side of life! It's easy to do, when you're keeping in mind the important of being earnest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really like the whole idea of CS. Cos it brings together really wonderful people who can (I believe) make this world better.
So I hope I can participate in it too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Somehow I'm more guesting by now than hosting. Maybe that's because Moscow is such a big cit with lots couchsurfers in it.=)
But I always glad to help if I'm here.

Interests

I'm fond of books, old school music, good films, tennis, football.

  • books
  • movies
  • music
  • soccer
  • tennis

Music, Movies, and Books

First places for me - music and books. I love American and British music, I can listen to my music constantly. And always open for new musical things.
I play ukulele myself.
Books are in a way my profession, cos I'm gonna be historian of the book (sounds very harrowing, I know)) So I got lots of favorite writers - from Nabokov to Pynchon and from Wilde to Updike.
English verse is something to talk about too
I love Irish movies! And old american ones of course

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I became the first Russian bookseller to live in Australia and work in the local antiquarian bookshops - that was rather exciting )

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some things about russian cuisine.
I can teach everything you want to know about books, but were afraid to ask=)

I'd like to learn about traditions of other nations.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belarus, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Kingdom
