Overview
About Me
NOTE: I am traveling until December, and cannot host. Please don't send me requests!
I was a nomad for 12 years before settling in Thailand. Curiosity drives me: getting to know people, places and cultures. The first thing I do every day is something active: running, windsurfing, swimming, weight training, hiking, biking or something new. In the afternoons, I work as an app developer building an environmental science app. And in the evenings I usually watch the sunset at the nude beach and then find a nice spa to relax with ice baths, hot tubs or saunas. I don't drink alcohol, but I'm always up to smoke a joint.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm mostly here to give back by hosting people in my cozy home after years of being a surfer. I also enjoy meeting interesting people from around the world.
Interests
I love nature, especially sun, wind, water and green plants. If I'm spending time in those kinds of environments I'm happy.
On Koh Phangan, I'm involved in the esoteric worlds of somatic healing and embodiment, movement, tantra, body positivity, touch positivity, and sex positivity. I'm happy to introduce you to these worlds if you're interested, but no pressure. Please let me know if you are not comfortable with these topics, and we can stick to my other interests instead:
I get excited about science, human progress, innovation and sustainability. Anything related to travel, celebrating cultural diversity, and learning languages is also interesting to me. In my down time, I'm usually searching for the best saunas, ice baths or spas in the area. Tips welcome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I created a connection card game for having fun taboo conversations and getting to know people on a deeper level.
I helped organize a tech conference in Havana, Cuba.
I swam naked with penguins in Antarctica.
I broke the rules and wrote four things instead of one.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing travel stories, and I have some wild ones! If you're interested in languages, we can practice Spanish, English or Hungarian or just talk about languages in general. I'd be happy to share about building web apps, open source software, and digital privacy. Or we can talk about the climate science organization I'm working with. Recently I had some experiences with Ayahuasca and Kambo that I'd love to share with you as well. And I love to talk about wildlife in Thailand or Antarctica.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to hang out and have some adventures together. I can offer entertaining conversation, and I'd love to share my travel stories and life experience. I've also been told that I give mind blowing massages.
