About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To just be really damn happy!
ABOUT ME
I'm a native Southern Californian, but truly found myself whilst studying music abroad in London. Currently, however, I reside in Laguna Beach, California. I'm a pretty outgoing person for the most part and love good company. (Especially with a glass of wine!) I have a tendency of saying too much when I should probably stay silent, but I look at that as merely an age issue and am hoping to grow out of that. At twenty, I consider myself to be pretty worldly having been accustomed to traveling my whole life. My parents instilled a sense of adventure in my brother and I as kids, and we love nothing more than being able to travel and experience all this world has to offer.
PHILOSOPHY
I feel like I can't help anyone else live their lives unless I live for mine first. Just like you can't help someone put on and breathe through their oxygen mask if you suffocate to death first. There are some lives however, that are a part of mine, and fall under the "my life" category.
Interests
What are things that grab my attention? Well for one, the understanding of human behavior. There is nothing more that I love than when I see a person willing and able to accept someone else for who they are. People, whether I like them or not, are very engaging to me and I love learning about them. More so being able to watch their tendencies and the way they interact in their lives. Is that strange? I guess I could lie and say the thing that grabs my attention most in life is a really good sunset, but I'm much more fascinated by human nature!
However, I don't just spend my time gawking at others. I'm very into my alone time as well. I love to sing and write. I'm a songwriter and spend much of my time doing just that. I also co-own a vintage clothing company here in Laguna. I really enjoy finding old treasures and giving them a new and fresh life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two things come to mind when I try to pin point what in my life has left me in awe. I'm sure there are more, but these will do for now.
There was a time I was in the Tikal jungle of Guatemala climbing ancient Mayan ruins with my family. We'd been trekking through wildlife, humidity, and rain for hours when we'd finally reached the main point of the hike. It was the tallest ruin uncovered, about 200 feet, and we were allowed to climb to the top. So up the four of us went, feeling insignificant amongst the trees and the ancient history. It took a while but we finally reached the top of the ruin, but more amazingly, the jungle. Up there, all you could see was the top of the rainforest canopy; miles upon miles of green. This, you may think, must be the awe-striking moment you're expecting, and of course, in a way, it is. But what got me the most, sitting up there in this foreign world, was the fact that we ended up sitting next to a nice family who happened to live five minutes from our California home. The world never seemed so big, and then so absolutely tiny in just one moment as it did then.
The second one was when I was sixteen and my boyfriend of the time and I decided to run away from our homes. We left with the clothes on our backs, our sights set for Boston. We encountered countless experiences and people along the way that we will never forget. But one of my most vivid memories is of the two of us, completely alone in the middle of the vast, lonely desert, lighting off fireworks into the night sky. Nothing has yet to top that.
