CURRENT PROJECT

AFTER FINISH OUR ASIAN OCEANIC PROJECT WE COME BACK TO ARGENTINA AND NOW WE WOULD LIKE TO HOST SOME BACKPACKERS AND GIVE BACK THE TONS OF LOVE WE RECEIVED IN THE TRIP!
We lived in New Zealand/Australia, and then traveled in Asia for 8 months!
Our idea is the same now like when we travel,to know good people, a lot of places and enjoy the life of the best way possible. And now also we are really interesting in practice our English to not loss it !

ABOUT US

We are a couple born and raise in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Me (Alex) 29 and Amelia 27 years old. We stay together since 2004, so we have a really good and long relationship, and probably we will get married when finish our project. So, regarding our project, we are dreamers so we want to go around the world, we started in Oceania, living and travelling around New Zealand and Australia and now is time to Asia. We think the boundaries are just in our minds, we are all the same and the place when we was born it's just random, so why not to share with people from every different place and make friends!

Me(Alex), I spent my childhood playing soccer and making friends. My friends call me "The Crazy Pi"...i think I'm not crazy, now, but they called me when i was child and i loved my nickname haha.
When i turned 20, I did my first backpacker trip and my mind blows out! Then, i traveled for all the states (province) of my country, from the Lapataia Bay, Tierra del fuego (southern point) until La quiaca, Jujuy or Iguazu falls, Misiones (northern point). Near to 5121 km of route and more!!!.
Open minded, a kind person, friendly and always searching for new experiences. I enjoy cook, share a dinner, a good wine or beer, and experiences, chat about trips and laugh all night.
Believe in Karma, and i try to do always everything to help another, and the life has been good with me, i think i'm a lucky one. Everything go back.

Amelia
Spent my childhood playing volleyball, singing and dancing with the spice girls haha always with a smile and positive energy, Friendly person, kind and polite.
When I knew Alex I started to travel, and always We talked about go around the world but never imagined we are going to really do it. I'm a kindergarten teacher and have a degree in educational psychologist. I love my job, and actually is one of the things I really miss.
I love hand crafting, read and i write my personal journal everyday.
I always had afraid from spiders, but i got over that on Australia haha (OMG!!!).
I love my family and I try to spend a lot of time with them, actually the family Sunday's when all hang out together is one of the greatest plan I can do it.

Alex
I worked in professional kitchens (i'm not a chef but a kind of) many times, so i learnt and cook is one of my passions. Actually I would like to study to be professional.
I love sports too, play and watch. I'm a big soccer fan. I'm a "River Plate" (my team) big fan and i try to go to the stadium every match i can!
I like play chess,backgammon or another different kind of board game (settlers for example), or also love play cards (i love poker)...
I really enjoy cook and do barbecue with my friends. One of my favourite meals to cook is Italian pasta (with carbonara sauce or bolognese) or french open omelette do formaggio.
I have a few guitar classes, so I play but not very well. Just beginner, but i want to learn more!

Amelia
Music (all genres). Play Volleyball. Read. Technology. Disneyland (all of it haha). Sing and dance. Play board games and cards. Watch movies. Roller Skate.
Loves bake brownies, fresh bread, etc. My special dish is Italian Calzone and milanesas with mashed potatoes.
Play Piano when I was kid, but i didn't remember anything haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

We follow a lot of series like "The big bang Theory", "How I met your mother", "Breaking Bad (One of the best)", "Game of Thrones", "Blindspot", "Sherlock", "Grey's Anatomy" and more.

Regarding a films we love go to cinemas (we used to go at least one day at the week in BA), and also see in our laptops.
Our favorite director is Christoper Nolan so, we can start with Inception, Memento, Interstellar, Butterfly Effect, Nueve Reinas, Star Wars, Die Welle (La ola), life of pi, the big fish, Rocky, El secreto de tus ojos, Finding Nemo, we don't know we really watch a lot.

We don't watch TV really often. Just sports events.

Always we have a book or a books to read, but I (Alex) not finish one and start another, i do at a same time hahaha , actually i´m in progress with "The diary of a young girl: Anna Frank", "When Nietzsche wept", and "Nimbly (Agilmente in Spanish)".
Amelia is not messy with her readings, so always when start a book she needs to finish it. Now is reading "After" Saga. The Twilight Saga, Narnia Chronicles and Harry Potter are her favorites,

We listen all kind of music, we can go thru reggae to heavy metal or some Latin music like Salsa, cumbia to classic or Jazz. We love music at all and we agree with Nietzsche when he said "without music, life would be a mistake".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ummm, we don´t know but regarding travels we can name a lot of places and stories!

- Our project connecting Argentina to the whole world: We left our life in BA and started to travel around the world! Our first step: Oceania and now we'll go for Asia.
- Scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
- Spent the last NYE in Sydney, amazing fireworks!
- Travel around New Zeland living in a campervan!
- Rafting in el cajon del azul, Bolsón, Patagonia, Argentina.
- Walked on Perito Moreno Glaciar, Calafate, Argentina.
- Swim with luminous plancton in Koh Rong, Cambodia.
- Slept in the floor of an Indian train more than 12 hours From Varanasi to Agra to know the Taj Mahal, India.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whatever we are capable of doing , we will do it.
For us CS in not to save money is about connect with local people and make friends, so we would love cook a typical meal, or exchange photos and stories, go to hang out together and have a great time!
