About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To remain rooted until the breeze picks up and a fair wind rises at my back.
ABOUT ME
I'd rather tell you over a drink or let you decide for yourself. I've been rambling in Asia, Mexico, and a short jaunt through Canada. I am currently settled in sweet and sunny South Texas.
PHILOSOPHY
Remember to remember never to forget to remember.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Nothing official or at least CS website related. I have several friends in Austin and around the US that are kind enough to open their greasy couches to me on occasion.... Went to LA once on a solid couch surf. Then smoked a greyhound up to Portland to spend a month on my brother's fair sofa. I suppose i'm not exactly an expert but i'm mostly housetrained and am usually tolerable company. I've been in India, Pakistan, and Nepal for the past seven months and couches aren't so necessary when hotel rooms cost about 2-3$.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked in the hills of Mexico lodestoned.... Meandered thru Myanmar as the Monks were marching trying to cast off the junta shackles. Weaved thru India's Mesmereyes up to the hardy home of the Sherpas and Gorkhas who look down on the clouds and bear burdens as if they were the spawn of ants and mountain goats. Drank endless gifts of tea and food due to the kindness of Pakistani hospitality and at the same time read the cover of Time Mag which read "Pakistan-The Most Dangerous Place in the World?" and giggled at the view of those not taken from the ground. And the Wild West still awaits me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook some mean fried chicken, taters, and gravy.
