I am a Middle School English, Film and History teacher from Australia. I'm vaccinated and can get my Booster in March.

I love to travel, eat and cook food from around the world, although my favourite foods would have to be chorizo, tacos and fresh fruit. I love going on hikes or nature walks.

Next year I'm moving to North Africa to work at a new school and go on even more adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read all sorts of books, but particularly loves those by Terry Pratchett and Grant Morrison. I adore movies that try to tell engaging or ambitious character driven stories - recent favs include Whiplash, Silence, Uncut Gems and Into the Spider-Verse. And I'm a big lover of bad 80s synth music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thanks to couch surfing I was able to stay with a family of Romani Gypsy in Romania. It was an eye opening experience that introduced me to some lifelong friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm open to learning absolutely anything, from milking goats to making jam. Unfortunately theres not much I can teach you outside of Australian slang and Middle School English or History.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer you laughs, good company and plenty of stories. I also have Uno and a competitive streak when it comes to boardgames of all shapes and sizes.
