ABOUT ME

In 2008 I passed exames. I took one year off and jobed in different fields to experience new things and earn money for my Canada trip. Together with my boyfriend I traveled for three months from the Canadian east to the west coast and via the Great Slave Lake in the north back again. We also spent some time in Seattle and Boston.
Since I´m back to Germany I´ve been working with handicapped people which is a lot of fun! This summer (2010) I´ll start a physiotherapie training.
I like to travel around to get to know other countries, places, mentalities and meeting so great and big hearted people who just make you feel the happiest person on the world. In my opinion it's important to better understand and respect each other in those unfortunately often unpersonal and egoistic times. I think traveling and spending your time with people from all different nations is a good way to do! It's just great to be able to enrich each others lives!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard from a friend about this project. I like the idea of cultural exchange and sharing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because I'm quite new on CS I haven't had many experiences yet. I couchsurfed with Sergei Tokmakov and Jérôme NICOLAS.
During my trip across Canada I met many nice people and often I and my boyfriend Julien were invited to stay with them at their places. Unfortunately that doesn`t give us (me) any references on CS.
My parents were hosting people all the time, so I was living together with many different people for a long time. These days were one of the best I ever had and I seldom laughed and learned so much.
I can`t wait till I`m back home and able to host others! :)

Intereses

traveling, painting, writing letters, watching films, reading fascinating books, learning languages, get to know people, listen to different styles of music, cooking, baking cakes, being creative in different ways, campfires, Canadian nature and people :), old houses, cities surrounded by water, the Netherlands, motorcycling, mountainbiking, diving, hiking, swimming in lakes, sleeping long in the weekend and having brunch, long serious conversations, summer evenings on the balcony with a glass of wine, seeing things in a different way after having seen them a thousend times before, enjoying the small things in life, organic food...
