ABOUT ME

I am a Civil/Structural Engineer. I have been working in Hong Kong since 2012.

I have backpacked around Europe via the Inter Rail in the summer of 2009 and hoping to explore more distant lands at the nearest opportunity.

Being at the front door of China and the springboard to Asia, the possibilities are simply mouthwatering! :D

PHILOSOPHY

My view on humanity is heavily based on Darwinism - Humanity is a very immature specie but is slowly beginning to realise its true potentials. Our perceptions of the world is extremely limited and often warped by our earthly needs.

I believe that we are all responsible for our surroundings and the people around us. Our contributions to the world should ultimately outweighs what we consume.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a regular participate of the CS events and have visited CSers at various locations.

I have met up with several visitors of Hong Kong and have played host and guide to several surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met up with the Berlin CS group during my travel in Europe. Was a very rewarding and enlightening experience. Since then, I have met up with CSers on various unrelated occasions.

I have also attend several CS meets in Hong Kong and have made some cool friends in the process.

Attended a CS meet at a Full Moon Party in Thailand and did the highest bungee jump with a fellow CSer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took my paragliding lessons in Nepal, saw the sun rose from the behind the highest peaks on the planet before launching from a 900m high mountain and soared with the Himalayan eagles.

I am a tech junkie. I know a couple of programming languages. Quite knowledgable in Physics, Philosophy, World War 2 history, Engineering. Love futurism and crypto-currencies.
