About Me

Hey fellow travelers,

I'm Log. I'm a 21 year old who's trying to spend as much time as possible to get to know the beautiful planet we're all living on, whether that means meeting new people, visiting friends or exploring places I haven't been before.

Briefly about myself:
I'm in the middle of my apprenticeship right now, so sadly I don't have as much free time as I'd like to. Most of my free time is spent on sports (I do enjoy taking my racing bike for a little tour or hit the gym from time to time), cooking (since moving out of my parents place I've tried my best to acquire some cooking skills and master some vegetarian recipes) or going out with friends to either have a couple of beers and play some cards or dance the night away to some techno music.

In my gap year after highschool I had the chance to see some parts of south east Asia, Central and North America. While traveling through Canada I developed my taste for traveling with almost no plan in mind and just enjoying the journey. So I started hitchhiking and couchsurfing which made it quite easy to travel spontaneously and have some exceptional experiences.

I love to meet new people, see and feel different ways of life and enjoy the best thing on earth, the diversity of culture, food and life.

Hope to see you soon :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know couchsurfing due to the guests my brother hosted while I stayed at his place too. So I decided to join the community to get to know other people while traveling or at home.
I like the idea of encountering places away from the normal touristic way of traveling with recommendations and suggestions of those who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite genres of music is techno, but I am open-minded.
I can not nominate one or ten favorite books. The same applies to movies; there are just too many books and movies worthwhile to know.
I'm currently reading "Im Grunde Gut" by Rutger Bregman which I really enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked from Vancouver to Toronto and had some crazy experiences on the way.

And some other funny stuff I will share with you in person :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

Card shuffling and the best card game in the world, how to open a beer with anything besides a beer opener

What I Can Share with Hosts

I haven't poisoned anyone with my vegetarian cooking, so far, so I'm happy to cook with/for you, help in your everyday life.
