Overview
About Me
I am a 21-year-old American from Washington State in the United States. I am in my final year of college where I am studying psychology and philosophy. I live in the middle of the state with my parents, my younger host Brazillian brother, and our dog. We are surrounded by nature and I go hiking many days each week. Growing up, my mom homeschooled me with a group of other families so I have always been very independent and have followed my own track. I got into college for civil engineering but my interests have evolved since then and I am more interested in people and sacred plants now.
If I could construct my ideal future in the next 10 years I would own a piece of land in the country of the Pacific Northwest and build a house on it. Professionally, I would like to work with a nonprofit seeking to promote sustainable use of sacred plant medicines.
I really value the friendships in my life and I try to be caring and attentive to those around me. I look forward to potentially getting to know you, the person reading this, and sharing what we have to offer each other!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's awesome! I do not like being a tourist so it is wonderful to couchsurf and see a more genuine side of the place I am staying. I have yet to host anyone in my small town but would love for that to change.

Music, Movies, and Books
Picking favorites is a challenge. . . yet, my favorite band would have to be Dirtwire (funky world electronic music). I love old reggae, dirty bass music, and anything with a good twang or funky beat. I don't watch a ton of movies but I like anything by Wes Anderson and sci-fi. Some books I like are "The Power of Now," "Dune," "The Name of The Wind," "The River Why," and "The Alchemist."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
~I backpacked solo across the Pyrenees.
