Young Midwesterner living in California, driven by my aspirations to obtain a PhD in the vastly important and growing field of Plant Pathology. Don't let my science background fool you, as I am an athletic and outdoorsy person. I love to play all sports and snowboarding, with a desire to learn the new outdoor sports that were previously unavailable, such as surfing, scuba, ocean fishing, etc. I have a passion for working on cars & trucks that goes back to my dad and I restoring many old Ford Mustangs ( '65-'67 for any of you that care). I am a really outgoing individual that loves to drink with friends and have a good time.

I listen to everything except Country. I love nature documentaries, science movies, comedies and stand up. I don't read too much except a lot of science publications for work/school.
