Overview
About Me
Hey guys, my name is Logan and I'm a Junior at the University of Alabama right now studying biology with the goal of (eventually) going to medical school. One of my main priorities in life is saying yes to every opportunity that comes around to see a new place or have a unique experience. I want to spend my life in the pursuit of amazing experiences while meeting new friends along the way rather than chasing after money or material things. I'm a landlocked beach bum and I love all things outdoors, especially hiking up to scenic views and getting to remote, off-the-beaten-path type places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing comprises a community of like-minded, adventurous people who want to connect with others and see different parts of the world. I am currently in school at the University of Alabama so am unfortunately unable to travel as much as I would like, but want to travel full-time for a while after finishing school. I would love to host anyone who wants to check out what Tuscaloosa or Alabama has to offer! It's not a typical destination but there are some cool unique experiences that I can show you. There's Bama football (roll tide), great bars and nightlife, and plenty of lakes/natural beauty in the surrounding area.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be happy to help out with chores/cleaning around your place or anything else you might need help with. I can teach you the very few songs I know on the ukulele and am not an expert but can definitely make some good recommendations for wine/beer based on your tastes if you're into that. I think I'm way funnier than I probably am in reality but I'll for sure try to make you laugh and love having a fun time.
I've always wanted to learn a new language and I've dabbled in it (Spanish and Serbian) but have never really gotten far. So I'd love to learn about whatever languages you speak. I also have tried surfing once but would love to give it another shot with someone who knows what they're doing. I'm very open-minded though and always want to expand my horizons, so I'd also love to learn about whatever you're into!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can introduce you guys to Alabama football if you come in the Fall, which is probably the biggest draw to the Tuscaloosa area and is definitely like a religion around here. There are some cool breweries and more typical college-town bars around that we could go check out if that's your scene. I also like paddleboarding on the lake, hiking, or just being outdoors and there are plenty of opportunities for that around here. I'll have class for at least part of the day every weekday but will be happy to hang out or take you around on the weekends.
