About Me
Hello, I am currently a philosophy and kinesiology (sport science) student working on my undergraduate degree. I am an avid hammer thrower, and have been throwing for 6 years now. I pretty laid back, and enjoy getting a cup of tea or coffee and talking for hours.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea very much of I help you, you help me, and vise versa. I believe that people can help each other out without having a motive or expect to gain anything, and just be friendly, and meet new people, and make new connections.
Interests
I enjoy philosophy, all olympic sports (Esspecially athletics, archery, curling, and weightlifting) I also love the coffee culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Its hard to pick one thing, but simple things I find the most amazing. Once when I was a Junior in high school, I used to commute an hour to train for Olympic weightlifting. one particular session, i hadn't eaten all day, and we started training very late. I had to do 10 sets of 10 60kg squats, and then squat body weight for as many repetitions as possible. Once I finished the sets, I felt done, and thought I couldn't squat one more rep let alone my body weight. With my coaches encouragement I ended up putting out 22 repetitions, and proceeded to literally pass out. I've won competitions, but nothing has made me feel better about myself than my coach encouraging me on that practice and doing what i thought i couldn't do.
