ABOUT ME

We are a couple and a band. Our name is Voodoo Boogaloo! Yeehaw!! We saved up just enough money to fund our own independent international tour. We released our sophomore album last month and are touring to get our name out there. Got to go where the action is, right? We booked all the shows with the help of our two friends from Slovenia and will be sightseeing in between gigs. On stage and off, we're both super friendly, funny, loving, respectful, and place great value on Connection.

Stephanie: I can be somewhat shy at first, but am really friendly and into having a great time all the time. I love to sing, I like changing my hair and nail color as much as possible. This is my first time leaving the USA, so I'm REALLY EXCITED!!! I love spending time with Logan and being silly. Performing music is my favorite thing to do in the whole world. I like spooky movies, stories, and art. Everyone tells me that my laughter is contagious.

Logan: I too very much enjoy performing music. Creating it is almost as fun. A song to me is a vacant world where I can build anything I want. I make the buildings, roads, and souls. Symmetry (of buildings, roads, and souls) is very important. I guess I 'm kind of OCD like that. I can't believe I finally figured out how to combine my three favorite things...Stephanie, Music, and Traveling. I feel like a genius. Just kidding...my meditation keeps my head from getting too big. My other job is creating products for a personal development organization. I make products for topic of meditation, self hypnosis, dream interpretation, etc.- my go to places for peace and inspiration. Well...there or Stephanie laughter.

PS We're vegan 🍏🍌🍒🍅🌶🥜🥑🍍, BUT we don't have any weird feelings towards people who eat animal products ;). So zero "blah blah vegan" conversations from us- hooray! Just a personal choice 🙏🏻🙏🏻

PPS You miiiight be thinking, "Oh no! Crazy musicians! They party too much!" LOL, we do enjoy a party, but are conscious of our health and consciousness of our hosts preferences- so no crazy nights...unless you ask for one 🎶🎉😆😆

PHILOSOPHY

Stephanie: Kindness is the most valuable thing in the world. Also, "Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted" - John Lennon.

Logan: I'm trying to realize my potential as a human. Somebody told me us humans have to die someday, so I want to get as many miles out of this thing as I can. "Life is a gift- Accept it."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first CS experience was as a host. A soon to be friend from China stayed with me while I was living in S. Korea. He told me that CS was popular in the states and I couldn't believe it. Since then, I haven't had the resources to host :(, but I've definitely felt the kindness of other hosts. I've probably stayed with 20+ hosts, and every single one was a fantastic experience. Each experience had a different flavor. Now, traveling as a musical act, Stephanie and I are looking for that CS Love that I tell everyone all about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Jeez! I could write a book on all the great experiences I had CSing. My favorite encounters were with those who shared that same wonderlust for life. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it! I love seeing that fire for existence in others' eyes. It's fuel for the Adventure! Often this kind of connection comes with something for me to walk away with. A reminder, an encouragement, a hug. *opens arms wide* I'm ready.

Interessen

Stephanie: Music, movies, travel, nice people, parties, full moon magic spells, performing music, laughing until I cry.

Logan: Watching Stephanie laugh until she cries, talking about current goals, yoga, meditation, tai chi, adventure time (cartoon), and definitely nice people.

The best thing I can teach, learn, and share is Presence. I'm ok-ish at it ;). One of my jobs is a personal development product developer and meditation coach. If anybody we stay with is interested in a lil coaching session, I would be happy to share what I have learned. I'm also ready to learn what you can share.
