Overview
About Me
I love engaging with people that have abstract intelligence, a passionate drive, are heartfelt/genuine or just plain fun, fun, fun.
Dork with a capital D. You've been warned.
I live in Portland, OR (a city I LOVE). I lived in NYC and if I could crap money, I might considering living there again. But until then I'm a West coast boy for life. Love Los Angeles. Laid back, but at the same time swirling with energy and possibilities.
My upbringin' - I was born and raised in Texas (no accent!) till I was 18 then bounced all over the U.S. from NYC to Florida to Portland to Los Angeles. Kinda did a four corners thing.
My heart is split 3 ways between Portland, Los Angeles and Texas, so I often find myself in all three.
Portland - Where I (ahem, hippy) "Found myself"
Los Angeles - Massive life transition
Texas - Where I was born/raised/forged
CHOICE WORDS:
Anything worth doing, is worth doing right.
Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.
Buy the ticket, take the ride.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosted for years in Portland, held a few CS gatherings and for 9 months I worked for Cirque du Soleil where I stayed only with Couchsurfers the entire time. It was a beautiful experience that brought me to an intimate point with this site and what it accomplishes.

Storytelling - It's amazing to me in all forms. Writing it, portraying someone else's, appreciating others'...

Running - Long distance & often. Preferably with a pooch. It's therapy. More than 2 weeks without it and I go bananas.
Tech nerd - It's like a mental hunt, figuring out how it all works.
