Overview
About Me
Just to give a quick introduction of my personality and what I enjoy doing.
I think I am an ambivert but Myers-Briggs claim that I am an introvert. Although I am normally a reserved and quiet person, I actually really enjoy meeting and chatting up people who I just got to know. The world, to me, is the largest melting pot with people coming from various countries, having unique backgrounds and cultures, and speaking different languages. These ultimately make us humans all exclusive in our own ways. I truly believe that everyone has their own life story and perspective to share which I could always learn something about.
I am very adventurous especially when it comes to the outdoors.
I prefer nature and beaches over cities.
I love trying out local cuisines and delicacies and wouldn't mind being your lab rat :)
I enjoy taking photos when I travel.

I have done quite a number of adrenaline-pumping activities but I will not attempt BASE jumping.
Anyway, I don't think I am best suited to describe myself.
After all, how am I suppose to self-praise/self-degrade? :)
I'll leave it for others to judge and leave their references :)
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in taking things one step at a time. There is no point stressing yourself out. and of course what you give you'll get back. What goes around comes around eventually :)
Go global. Stay local.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed for a few times while I was in Europe during my undergraduate years and it was definitely fun ! They say kindness should be reciprocated and I would love to host travelers someday when I have the chance to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books
Watch all sorts of movies/dramas but I'm more inclined to thrillers/adventures. If you insist on names then these instantaneously popped up - Prison Break, Game of Thrones, Inception, Ocean series, 21, Now You See Me
Listen to anything that's soothing to my ears. It really depends on the mood and time. Acoustic at the moment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One? I don't think my life can be summed up by just one amazing thing. I have done quite a number of things that I didn't expect myself to do and they are:
-Strained my Iliotibial Band (ITB) but still persist to hike up Mount Fuji in Japan to witness one of the most -amazing sunrises.
-Solo traveled for one month to New Zealand and it was definitely magical. Not too sure if there are any other places in the world that homes such dramatic landscapes across two islands.
-Hiked up to Everest Base Camp during winter in spite of medical doctor's advice not to :)
-Vividly remember telling my housemate one fine summer afternoon in 2012 after my final examination paper that my Bachelor's Degree would be my last academic certificate, only having to eat my own words 6 years later when I completed my Doctoral Degree.
