About Me

Sociable and always ready for adventures, I like being surrounded by friends from different cultures.
I am living in a two bedroom flat located within ridiculous walking distance to the city center. I have a spare room available with an airbed, so why not sharing it with the community!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm 30 and definitely not in favour of a routine in my life!! Meeting people who share this view has always been a great experience in the past... and I see no reason why it should stop!!

Interests

I can get interested in a thousand different things, but above all I like nature and outdoor activities. Hiking, camping, surfing, sea kayaking are some of the hobbies I like to practice when I'm not working. I also have a deep interest in car design, culinary delights, rare and exotic music.
There's one thing I'm not fond of: sitting in front of a TV! Life's too short for that ;)
Since a few years I try to go around places and attend concerts of legendary musicians. Recent highlights were an ethio-jazz concert near Brussels, or a mindblowing jam session in Paris lasting 3 hours!
I am also a scout leader for the Duke of Edinburgh International award in Luxembourg, and this takes me to wonderful places hiking around Europe.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an addiction to music like many people I guess. This translates into a big records collection at home, which I will never ever sell! You'll have to kill me first! (laughs)
World jazz, East meets West, definitely my kind of music style..
I also like inspirational books about design & architecture, travels, photography, life stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helping other people who don't have the chance that most people have. I'm helping disabled children and adults to overcome their difficulties in life, trying to offer them moments of happiness, which they always give me back. It's a win-win situation and that's what I like about it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a French native speaker, I spent a year in Scotland to learn better English and it worked as I am now working for a US company. I studied 11 years of German though I'm not very good. I'm sure this can be worked out with practice! More recently I learnt Italian and I enjoyed it a lot. My next wish? It could be Spanish, Russian or Portuguese!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My sense of humour, my cooking skills (people say that so I ended up believing it after years...) and a awful lot of other things that can't be described in a few lines. Besides, if you prefer a laidback atmosphere with appropriate music, my couch will definitely appeal to you!
