About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I seek the Holy Grail!

ABOUT ME

Hooowdy-hooo! Well...briefly, I'm a French guy born in 1987 in the north of France (Boulogne-sur-mer), I studied engineering in the south of France (Toulouse) during 5 years. I travel through South America for a year. Then I lived in the Alps (Grenoble) for almost 4 years before moving to Vancouver in 2015. I'm a quite curious person. I do like to live, learn, share, laugh, listen, travel, play, don't-do-anything-at-all and do-everything-at-the-same-time... and all that makes life happier!

PHILOSOPHY

Ou sont passées mes pantoufles ?
(Where did I let my slippers ?)
(Pero donde estan mis zapatillas ?)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are all living together on that same little ball of rock. Meeting and understanding other cultures makes you feel closer to other people and somehow closer to yourself. Participating in the couchsurfing project by meeting people, hosting and being hosted, I modestly contribute to the global understanding between all of us. Little brooks make great rivers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First experience in Ireland where I've been hosted, I loved the concept ! great first experience.
As soon as my roommates agreed with the idea, I began to host people in Toulouse. Once again great experiences. I surfed a lot in South America, and it was so much fun ! I also hosted a couple of guests again in Grenoble (not a very touristy city...)

Interests

I love to be outside and practice outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, back country skiing, snowboarding, funboard and kitesurf...

I also (used to) listen to a lot of music I am a fan of rock/metal/jazz. I also listen a lot of reggae/dub and electronic music, as well as Latin and world music. I've also been playing guitar (acoustic and electric) and bass for several years (but it doesn't mean I'm really good...), sometimes in rock and metal bands.

I started photography with an old analog reflex camera, but now I use principally an old but still functional digital reflex one. Landscape, composition/situation and sometimes portraits.

Science/Philosophy: I love to talk about science/psychology/philosophy and spirituality, how strange and amazing it is, how it changes our conceptions of life and our societies... especially around a little beer !
