About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Loic, I currently live in Paris and I would like to meet people who can relate to my interests. I'm part of an international revolutionary movement called Anti-tech Resistance that is dedicated to a unique goal : to stop and dismantle the technological system that is destroying the planet.

My Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/LoicLupa/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from all over the world who reject technology, industrialization, as well as the growing alienation and dependency on a globalized system that is destroying the planet.

I hope to welcome radical, anti-tech, anarchist people who want to get collectively organized to stop the system.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer, I went to a summer camp organised by Anti-tech resistance. and it was there that I discovered this movement !

It was an extremely rewarding week ; I took part in discussions, debates and training courses on technology (how to debunk preconceived ideas on technology, analyse the technological system, etc.) and also on strategy (how to create and lead a group, organize events to spread anti-tech ideas, think strategically to stop the system and so on). The week was also full of convivial moments, bringing together people from different backgrounds, such as preparing meals as a team for many, playing team sports or singing revolutionary songs by the fire.
We also went on a great two-day hike in the Vosges mountains, we braved the rain and watched a stunning sunset together, telling each other why we chose to fight this system. This really brought us together.

By being surrounded by nature and meeting determined comrades, this week marked the beginning of the adventure of a lifetime.
Since then, the journey towards the anti-tech revolution is truely my greatest and most important adventure.

I've met some of the most honest, courageous and determined people in the world in this journey.
I hope to meet many others, from all over the world, convinced by the idea that technology is destroying our lives and our planet and that it must be stopped.

Teach, Learn, Share

I look forward to sharing the lessons I’ve learn in Anti-tech resistance.
In the city of Paris, we form a local ATR group so you’ll be able to meet and exchange with members and take part in the training sessions, discussions and movie-debates we organize.
Those training courses cover a wide range of subjects and will give you a background on criticism of technology and on strategy. We also learn about autonomy, survival and safety. We'll share our library with you, so you can have access to all the books, reading reviews and articles we have written on all these different topics (english available!).
In addition, we organize weekly sports sessions to get our bodies moving together, create a collective spirit and learn how to defend ourselves.

Our resistance movement must make sure that none of us is left alone facing the disaster caused by the technological system so sharing knowledge and experience is at the very core of our group.

Finally, if you'd like to stay a little longer, you can discover our support network, which links every member to what we call « rear bases ». These are places where we can get organized and that are trying to be less depend on modern industry, that are .
A great example for you would be to come with us to this year's summer camp in north-east France! We could take you along in the car to join us during this anti-tech week, which will take place on a self-sufficient farm. I'd love to share this enriching week with travelers from all over the world who are interested in these issues!

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I said above, I have a lot to share about the fight against technology and industrialization.
I would simply like to add that, above all, I want to share the will and determination to fight !
In the face of the massive destruction of our environment and living conditions, we need people who can break out of denial, individualism and liberalism, and join the struggle of our time...

I hope this announcement will convince a few travelers to come and meet me and Anti-tech Resistance, and that it will sow the seeds of revolution.
