I graduated from university last spring, and then decided to take a gap year (or more?) to travel and experience as many different things as I can. I have been hitchhiking my way through South-Eastern Europe from September to November 2017, then moved to North-Western Europe then Israël in November and December 2017. Now in Asia, the plan is to move from Taiwan to Vietnam, Laos and Thailand during Spring 2018 :)

I love to learn about the history/culture/politics/food/etc. of the countries I'm travelling to. Also, I aaaalways visit the countryside, because hiking (preferably up mountains) is probably my favorite thing to do ever.

I spent the last summer working in the Canadian Rockies in a summer camp for kids from low-income families, and after this very intense summer but amazing summer, I am now off to experience Europe, and later on, Middle-East and Asia. Travelling, for me, is an excellent way to try new things, get out of my comfort zone, meet the "other", experience different cultures, beliefs, lifestyles, etc. and learn and grow as a person from those encounters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that Couchsurfing is such a good opportunity to meet with locals and get a very unique insight of the region that you are visiting. Having introduced a few foreign visitors to my city (out of CS), I thought I would try to be on the other side of the tablr during my next trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Spent 6 months in Switzerland. That's when I really fell in love with hiking and reaching summits.
-Had a bit of a similar love story this summer, but with the Canadian Rockies!
-Roadtripped my way through Canada (Canada is a biiiiig country, believe me)
-Saw the first sunrise of the year from my tent, on the top of a sand dune, in Morroco
-Roadtriped around Costa Rica's dense and lush rainforest. What an amazing experience.
-Hitchhiked my way through Croatia and other parts of the Balkans.

I can teach you how to hunt a moose using an ice pick while drinking maple syrup (or can I?)

I am basically interested in anyhting you can teach me, I'm of curious nature and love to learn.
