About Me

I would say I am a friendly and open person - I love meeting new people and learning about others and sharing stories. I did my degree in Fine Art; and love making, thinking and talking about art. I do a lot of reading, both fiction and non- fiction; I'm interested in critical discourses, social movements and general ideas for making the world a more fair and equal place for people and the environment. I also enjoy going out to gigs and dancing to loud music, spending time outside (cycling or walking), permaculture, socialising with my friends, drinking gin...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I want to use couch surfing to meet locals and experience their towns and cities through them, and share my town with travellers. I like the ethos of give/take (host/surf) making it possible to travel for less money. But more importantly for meeting people and learning about their cultures, interests, what we can learn from each other, and developing community and connections based on kindness, shared experiences and generosity.

Interests

Art, making things, reading, socialising. Going to gigs, swimming in the sea, taking long walks and running.
