Overview
About Me
I regularly practice sport such as running, mountain biking, skiing and ski touring to keep fit but especially to see the landscapes and have some fresh air. The village where I live is ideal to see nature: it is surrounded by forests and hills and the mountains are easily reached by car. I play the guitar but I am a beginner and still have a lot to learn.
I aim to become a lawyer but I am not sure yet of what interests me in the profession and skills it will bring me. I would surely love to defend people and firms because it would help me to understand how the society works and teach me how to negotiate or argue with opposed minds. Sometimes I see myself in the future as an entrepreneur, that's why I would be pleased to study business too. Creating my own products or services that can help the world becoming sustainable would really change my job in a passion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to "couchsurf" because I want to visit this great and big country I often heard about (Canada) in a way which would allow me to meet the local citizens or trippers from other countries and reduce the costs of my journey. I'd like to visit Canada because a lot of people told me well about this country and its landscapes. It's reputed for mountain biking in summer but particularly skiing in winter, my two favourite sports. Finally, I'd like to learn English and Canada seems to be the nicest English-speaking country in the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
My Favorite Music: the Black Keys, , Eric Clapton, Gary Clark
My Favorite Books: Le Rouge et le Noir (Stendhal), l'insoutenable légèreté de l'être (Kundera).
My Favorite Movies: Pulp Fiction, It.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekking and biking in the Himalaya in Ladakh (North India).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach French for sure, German and Italian too but I am still learning so you'd better find a fluent speaker.
I would find great to learn to know my host, learn to know the place surrounding his house and eventually practice my English with him.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I can share? How to make cheese-fondue as it's done in Switzerland, my interest in debating the world, or passion for skiing and playing the guitar.
