About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have fun, meet interesting people, have good conversations, to leave goodness in my wake and do as little damage as possible. I want to make music, and to learn how to make it with others. I want to foster a unique relationship with God.
ABOUT ME
I'm 27 years old, an artist and an avid fan of world music. I'm happiest when I'm dancing to reggae. I moved to Israel at the age of 25 because of a sense of purpose here. Jerusalem is my favorite place on earth, so far-come on a tour with me! Video is my passion, though it's been a while since I did it just for the sake of art. Have a video idea? Pitch it to me! I consider mine an interesting mind, even if I have yet to experience the interesting things most people on this site have.
PHILOSOPHY
Take only as much as you'll eat. Over-consumption and waste impoverish the soul. Don't cite men of religion as an excuse not to try to know your God. States can be evil but people are good. Fight age by becoming more open rather than less, with time. Try to trust and give without too much internal accounting; it usually comes back to serve you. Don't expect to make a living off of art, but keep doing it, anyway.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live at my grandmother's, currently, so I can't host you (yet) but I'll be happy to meet you and try to introduce you to my friends, take you to the beach or to Jerusalem, or to a concert.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, at least not on an official basis. I've slept on a huge number of beds and couches throughout Israel. Israelis are some of the warmest hosts around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a 3-week road trip around my home town (it's not that big) and shot a film about it. The idea was a gimmick but it ended up being a fascinating investigation for me, wherein I discovered the evils of suburban life: estrangement between the different ethnicities, classes, and generations, and an irrational fear of people despite the relative safety of the suburbs. The gem of the roadtrip: the projects. Check out a trailer, if you're curious. Look up "Staten Island Road Trip Trailer" on Youtube.

I can teach you a little of what is special about Judaism, I can teach you how to draw, I can sing my songs for you, I can instruct you in a bit of yoga and/or swimming.
