COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was visiting the games convention in Essen (not the computer games) and was invited to stay at the house of a friend of a friend of mine who was a fully stranger. My friend gave me the keys for the appartement and told me where it is. As I arrived, no one was there. The host came the next day and I stayed in his house without even meeting him.
