About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world as much as I can, whenever I want, and wherever I want

ABOUT ME

TADAHA: Tall, Dark, Handsome. Well, almost. More than almost, to be exact.

23 year old male travelling the world, trying to find nooks and crannies off the beaten path by visiting the less known locations where locals like to go. Yeah, that's me :)

PHILOSOPHY

You only regret the thing you did not do, and not the things you did, so just go out there and do whatever you want to do!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just do it. Don't think twice, just do it and any obstacles will just be overcome by itself. Somehow.

Currently an exchange student at Aarhus University, Denmark for the second half of 2013, and taking this chance to meet as many people as I can, by attending CS meetings and adhoc meetups all :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much at this point of time, and will update as I go along.

I've never couchsurfed before, but have been to CS activities in Aarhus (monthly meetups!), where I am currently having my Student Exchange Program (SEP). Meeting up with people from all walks of life and sharing travel experiences and talking about anything and everything was something that got me hooked, and I have been trying to look up CS meetups wherever I go now.

CS Meetups: Aarhus (Sep 13')
CS Surfing: Anezka (Aalborg, Nov 13')
CS Hosting: When I get back to Singapore! (A bit hard now as I don't have a space to let people come!)

Interests

Photography, eating, and snapping at everything and anything that is of interest to not only me, but to of others.

I like hearing people share their stories. It always fascinates me how we can all be living on the same planet, yet having different experiences. I also learn a lot from people's sharings too, and that in itself is one way we can experience the world.

And talking to random people from random places for random stories :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living alone, for 6 weeks, on crutches, in a foreign land.

I find that a rather amazing thing, surprising myself everyday, like cooking even on crutches. And going on walking tours on those two crutches.

Apart from that, I have driven tanks, rode horses, crossed rivers in chest-deep water. Adventure = Adrenalin = Enjoyment = Unforgettable Experiences, which are the most important!

Things I have done on CS:
- Attended a Psychadelic Danish Rock Concert
- Cycled 8km in the rain when it is 8 degrees celsius

Teach, Learn, Share

Photgraphy is something I really enjoy doing, and I could really teach beginners how to make the most out of their cameras, not only through the lens but also via the use of a computer (Lightroom anyone?), where miracles can happen with just a few clicks of the mouse :)

I also know Chinese fairly well, so I could teach people basic Chinese to help them get by in countries where Chinese is a dominant language...

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belize, Cambodia, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Slovenia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
