Student in political sciences in Strasbourg, I recently moved to Lyon to finish my master degree in "history of political thought" and to move in with my boyfriend who is also in master degree in "social and solidarity economy".
We are so happy to finally be able to receive people at our own place !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was in Monterrey (Mexico), about to arrive in US, a person that I met in an hostel told me about CS. I find it as a very good opportunity to meet people during my trip, to share some good moments and to see how people live in the countries that I wanted to visit. Also, I wanted to practice my English before studying in Canada and continue to travel at a lower cost.
After this year abroad and all these good experiences in CS, I can say that this way of travel transformed my all trip. Every CS has been amazing with me and I am so grateful of all the hosts that I met. I shared some moments that I will never forget thanks to them : I went to Griffith Observatory and the Walk of Fame in LA, I met Killian Mbappe in the public of a soccer game, I discovered baseball, I went climbing, eating, drinking...

Quand j'étais à Monterrey (Mexique), sur le point d'arriver aux États-Unis, une personne que j'ai rencontrée dans une auberge de jeunesse m'a parlé de CS. J'ai trouvé que c'était une très bonne occasion de rencontrer des gens pendant mon voyage, de partager de bons moments et de voir comment les gens vivent dans les pays que je voulais visiter. Aussi, je voulais pratiquer mon anglais avant d'étudier au Canada et continuer à voyager à moindre coût.
Après cette année à l'étranger et toutes ces bonnes expériences dans les CS, je peux dire que cette façon de voyager a transformé tout mon voyage. Chaque CS a été extraordinaire avec moi et je suis tellement reconnaissante envers tous les hôtes que j'ai rencontré. J'ai partagé des moments que je n'oublierai jamais grâce à eux : je suis allé au Griffith Observatory et au Walk of Fame à Los Angeles, j'ai rencontré Killian Mbappe dans le public d'un match de football, j'ai découvert le baseball, j'ai fait de l'escalade, j'ai mangé, j'ai bu...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My third year of study abroad has been an all adventure :
- I became a "teacher" in an indigenous community in Mexico
- I climbed a volcano 5200 meters high
- I crossed all north America from the south of Mexico to Toronto just by bus and train
- I visited the US west coast and its national parks just by hitchhking with my boyfriend
- I ran my first marathon in Toronto
To conclude, I didn't get bored

Ma troisième année d'études à l'étranger a été une vraie aventure :
- Je suis devenu "prof" dans une communauté indigène au Mexique
- J'ai gravi un volcan de 5200 mètres d'altitude
- J'ai traversé toute l'Amérique du Nord, du sud du Mexique à Toronto, en bus et en train
- J'ai visité la côte ouest des Etats-Unis et ses parcs nationaux en stop avec mon copain
- J'ai couru mon premier marathon à Toronto
Bref, je ne me suis pas ennuyée !
