I'm pretty straightforward and down to earth. I work for myself which tends to mean I spend a lot of time working but i'm trying to do more that means I take breaks and experience the world more as an adult.

I'm kind of geeky, i like sci fi and fantasy, reading, knitting, board games. I love to experience history and other cultures, i'm fascinated by those things. I'm always up for doing anything creative though i'm not that outdoorsy.

I'm kind of quiet initially but I have been known to talk people's ears off (not literally) when i get to know them better.

I've mostly only lived in the UK, London, Leeds and Reading but i have travelled to lots of places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to travel a lot with family and now i'm finally taking the opportunity to travel by myself and experience different places. Though as most of my money goes back into my business sometimes funds aren't as free as i'd like which makes it harder to travel. So i'm interested in couchsurfing as a way of enabling me to visit places I wouldn't necessarily have been able to and also to help me experience places in a way that would be closed to me as a simple tourist. My favourite times that i had travelling in Japan where when i got to interact and explore places with local people. I would dearly love to have that experience again because it is a whole different world.

Unfortunately i'm not in a position to host at the moment due to where I live, but would happily do so once the situation changes :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not great with music anymore as I don't tend to listen to it much outside of dancing or having it as background noise but i did like to listen to indie rock, some pop.

I like a few of the Marvel and DC movies i enjoy horror and thrillers (no gore), science fiction and fantasy , the odd rom com, or just straight up comedy.

Books it's mostly sci fi and fantasy again, I don't really have favourites i tend to read a lot and love a lot, I read a lot!

Teach, Learn, Share

Whilst i can't teach any spoken languages, i am happy to help with any coding issues you may have or get you on your way to basic programming if that's what interests you. I can teach many different crafts, including knitting, crochet, sewing etc.

I like to cook for people and i'd love to share some of my favourite dishes with whoever host me.
