ABOUT ME

I am currently enduring the pain of yet another desk job, though in London so at least am overseas! Travelled around Spain, Croatia and Italy for a brief month before arriving here. Am already counting the days until I leave London for Morocco, then Spain, Italy and Greece. I will be travelling with my friend Morgan (that's the two of us in the photo - her on the left, me on the right) and we really want to meet lots of new people! Show us your world.

PHILOSOPHY

I have come away to learn who I am away from the people I love. Everyday I discover something new.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One of my old flatmates introduced me to how amazing having people from all over the world stay with you can be. We had a year of foreigners crashing on our couch in our little Dunedin flat. It fuelled my thirst for travel. At the moment I am staying with a girl who stayed with us for a month five years ago.We hadn't kept in contact but when I flicked her an email saying I was coming to London she said I could stay with her! She has been so fantastic that I'm trying to convince her to come to NZ next year so I can pay her back! What goes around comes around. It's a beautiful thing.

I love the feeling of taking off on an airplane, walking down a deserted country road in the middle of nowhere, I like to get lost in my own thoughts, go crazy on the dance floor, and laugh until it hurts. Books fuel my passion for people and for life, writing helps me to put into words everything good and bad about this world, a stage in a theatre helps me to feel alive, and talking to crazy and interesting people helps me to feel a little more 'normal' in the knowledge that 'normal' is relative
