CURRENT MISSION

At this time, my principal objectives are to meet as many people as I can. I’m settling in Montréal with my best friend for the year and I would like to have an insight of the city living. What better than couchsurfing to have a first contact with a city and its inhabitants !

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone ! I'm Lola. I'm 24 years old and I come from Belgium. My mother comes from Madagascar so I'm also half Malagasy. I'm a really sociable person and for me travelling is about meeting other people ! I would be glad to share my culture in exchage of a bit of yours ! I’m arriving in Montréal with my best friend Oziana in September to spend the year in your lovely city. I’m studying textile design and will be doing an internship from October. It will be my first time in Canada but I've already been to Australia, Madagascar, Tunisia,USA, Suede,Denmark, Spane and Germany so I'm enjoying travelling very much ! I'm also a real fan of adventure sports like canyoning, tree climbing or rafting. Hoping you would enjoy me.

PHILOSOPHY

Taking every opportinity. I think aspecially when you are travelling but also in life in general, it's important to be able to take an opportunity when it occur to you. Don't thinking to much before making a decision because your are too afraid of making the wrong one.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never hosted yet because I don’t have the chance to have my own place but I would be glad to host other people back home when settled ! I heard about this organization by a friend who has been doing this all over Australia and it was seeming such a great way to travel and meet locals.

The type of music I love is mostly alternative rock and country music like Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Vampire Weekend, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Girls in Hawaï, Peter Gabriel or Asa (more Jazzy)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I don't know if you can concider it as an "amazing" experience but since I'm only 24, I think it should be the most significant thing I've ever done. When I was 12 I made a long trekking of two weeks followed by one week of rafting in Madagascar. It was a bit like a wild adventure.
