HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I traveled around Europe by couchsurfing in 2011 and it was absolutely wonderful. I haven't done much of it as of late, but it hold a very special place in my heart and whenever I can participate I will. Unfortunately I have not been in a living situation that accommodates hosting recently either, but I hope that time will come eventually!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed many couches in Europe and believe it is an amazing concept and community! I have met so many generous and wonderful people through this program. I'll never forget my experiences and I hope to have many more!

Movies: funny ones, and thought provoking ones. Some action, but generally stray from super violent or scary..
Music: almost everything..Horse Feathers, Beach House, Phantogram, Washed Out, Bon Iver, Daughter, Lia Ices, Fleet Foxes, Discovery, Passion Pit.... just to name a few.
Books: Where the Sidewalk Ends, Alvin's Swap Shop, No Children. No Pets, the Wolves of Wiloughby Chase, A Tale of Two Cities, stuff by C.S. Lewis, pretty much children's books with a few others splashed in here and there.

I like all of these. a lot.
