About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Altruistic distribution of muffins and tea
ABOUT ME
Everyday, my children teach me more than they could ever learn from me.
Listening is my forte.
PHILOSOPHY
When we aren't sure, we are truly alive.
"I think we all have a core that's ecstatic, that knows and looks up in wonder. We all know that there are marvelous moments of eternity that just happen. We know them." - Coleman Barks
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosting grand-scale international pot-lucks, taking care of member concerns & moderating the forums has been my main focus.(Super-mom) Honestly, when's the last time you had a group of international travelers in your kitchen, singing "The Final Countdown"?
My three kids love having people from all over the globe walk through our doors, and have many stories to share of our experiences!
One day, we'll travel together with the entire herd of us, and will be in contact with other families around the world to make it happen!
Interests
Painting, listening to other people, antique people, field trips, collecting color, law books, alternative education, plants, caffeine, the Tim & Eric Show, sidewalk chalk, pickled everything, humanities, fish, my violin, environmentalism, saying "horchata" a respect for insomnia, fruit (but not together), rust, history, blankets, kitchen fights with mayonnaise, putting the word "apothecary" into subject headings, old dirty libraries, dragonflies, terse factoids, giraffes, trespassing, breaking into commercial jingles, it just goes on and on I'm afraid.

Music, Movies, and Books
Your mom's home movies, independent films, and silent flicks.
Am (still!) saturated in law and sociology books, on a slow crawl toward a dual degree. I collect antique books and a few comics too, so there's a fairly large collection worthy of spending an afternoon with.
Music is vital, and while I am the world's worst jukebox (sorry dad, I've finally bested you), I'll listen to almost anything from the root. I'm a bit of a purist, I must admit.
PS: Traveling musicians are always welcome!
