About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do what I like and like what I do and hopefully learn a lot along the way!
ABOUT ME
I've worked at a couple outdoor camps and they've had a profound impact on who I am now and what I want to do with my life. I learned to appreciate the outdoors and life in general through my experiences there. I love meeting new people...my aunt and uncle I'm close to call me a "collector of people" because I meet so many new friends on my journeys. I'm an extremely outgoing person and love to talk to people (sometimes too much, but oh well). I am always up for learning and trying new things. I hate it when I don't have anything to do and am always up for a random spontaneous adventure. I am quite spiritual and try to follow my intuition to guide me where I need to be next in life...
PHILOSOPHY
"Not all who wander are lost"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to see a group of immigrants rallying and marching in spring of 2007...I thought that was pretty amazing because you don't see that much anymore in the United States.
However, there was a really sweet thing myself and 3 friends did recently that was pretty amazing. We heard about this music festival down the road from us just a couple towns over. The tickets were $130 and we would not have enough to afford one. So, since it was right in the middle of a national forest we figured that there had to be a way we could hike in. We grabbed a map and used google earth and plotted a way to go. We found a place to park our car, not exactly as close as we had hoped, grabbed our map and our packs and headed out. We got a little ways into the woods when we realized nobody had a compass. We hiked for a couple miles, hoping we were headed the right direction, and popped over this ridge to be greeted by music from the festival coming up from the valley! We then snuck our way down into the campground, under the cover of darkness, set up camp, and then proceeded to dance to live bands all night. I thought that was pretty amazing! Haha...I just remembered that the next day I caught a ride on a four wheeler with the owner of the campground so I could get to the parking lot where my friends were picking me up after they retrieved the car...
