About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Right now I'm just working seasonal jobs and adventuring every chance I have in between.
ABOUT ME
Well I used to work at a college as a janitor, even though I felt like I was smarter than most of the students. Sometimes I would see equations left on the chalkboards and I would solve them. But then I realized how much I love cooking. And how much I loved traveling. And so I embarked upon a life of cooking and tasting and living in new places. As much of a recluse as I can be, I love people. It's one thing to explore a new city, but a completely different thing to see it from a local's point of view. That's why I would like to get more involved with couchsurfing.
PHILOSOPHY
Now that I am just about done paying off school loans, I just want to travel. Everywhere. My top 5 dream destinations changes nearly constantly. There are so many interesting places to see and each place looks different from every person's eyes. It's an ever-evolving adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My experience in Mexico is hands-down the most memorable. I climbed the Pyramid of the Sun, and swam with sea turtles and barracudas in Akumal. Though perhaps a bit less impressive, in Maine I spent three summers working on Monhegan Island. Ten miles in the middle of the ocean is this 1 1/2 by 3/4 of a mile sea-mountain that boasts 17 miles of hiking trails. Some of my favorite adventures took place here. There was never a shortage of things to do, even if we had to think slightly outside of the box.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I want to learn through couch surfing is how locals live. The places you eat, drink, and spend sunny days. I want to learn the things that travel guides don't include. In return I can cook and share my skills in the kitchen. I'm also a master dishwasher and housekeeper, so I'm always willing to pitch in around the house. Above all I would like to make some real connections with people, enabling me to someday return the favor.
