ABOUT ME

I'm not comfortable wearing heels, but I do anyway because mom says they make my legs look great. I've been told, they're supposed to make you feel like a lady who crosses her legs at tea time, takes slow, feminine sips and tiny nibbles of her biscuit. I will NOT raise my pinky, nor will I act in a slightly popmpous or affected manner. I will not wear heels when my toes hurt. I will wear flats (sneakers, if i must), when traversing the universe. Earth is too big and lumpy for a Steve Madden platform that stretches my legs and reduces the bigness of my big toes.

Umm, so, I'm 24, and my name is London, though I'm not from there. I was conceived in a suburb north of Dallas, born in a bathtub in the same city, but I can't remember the details. I don't live in Dallas anymore. I live in New York City, the gem city, my cultured little pearl of place where I can be the lady-like artist my mom gave birth to in the 80s. Hello world!

So far, I have attended one Couch Surfing meeting in Manhatttan to interview surfers and hosts about their experiences. The next day, I took a stroll with an en-route surfer from France through Central Park. The anecdotes inspired me to join the community, so here I am....
