About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To hold on to a little bit of New Orleans

ABOUT ME

You actually always think it is easy to describe yourself, but as I am sitting on this profile longer than the anticipated five minutes (exaggeration intended), this time makes no exception that it is actually very, very difficult. I guess I am a very friendly person with a slight tendency to worry about things which are not really worth worrying about, but still within the frame work you could call lovable. As much as I love traveling, I think there is no greater experience and no better way to get to know the culture of a country, than actually living in a different country for a longer amount of time. I lived in London for a year, working as an Aupair and since that day I miss London everyday. For the last year I was living in New Orleans and went to Tulane University. Now I am back in Berlin and we'll see what comes next. A whole lot of Berlin I hope! However, from time to time I am getting restless and then I know it is time to hit the road again. There are so many places I would like to see, so many places I still have to go to...

PHILOSOPHY

When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Suddenly there is this option to go to so many places and to meet so many different kind of people. Even my grandma kind of knows about this. Makes me happy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing. Everybody is telling me how great and easy it is, so I guess I have to try it too. I am such a follower.
I had my first coach surfing experience in Mexico and it was just amazing. We would have never seen so much of Mexico if it weren't for our wonderful hosts. I am so thankful for their kindness and patients to show us around. I've learned so much about the mexican culture and shared something of the German culture too. And I kept thinking to myself, yes, this is what coach surfing is about. I am so glad to have done this.
