Hi! I'm Lone (pronounced Lou-neh, not like the lone in alone ;) ).

I live in the forrest in the south of Sweden in a little log cottage ano 1721. I love being outdoors, hanging out in forests and hiking in the mountains and by oceans and lakes. I love reading, cooking, farming veggies, meditation, yoga, contact improvisation, pottery, kayaking, picking blueberries and mushrooms, listen to music, write, and of course to meet people: as in meeting people for real, seeing and listening and learning and sharing and doing things together.

Me and my partner are currently renovating the house, an ongoing (seemingly never ending) project. I work as a teacher in Malmö a few days a week and from home a few days a week.

Love to meet people when I travel. Have good conversations, walk around, eat together, go swimming, go to a concert or whatever!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am traveling to San Sebastian this spring and to Armenia and Georgia this summer - looking forward to meet people and maybe stay over!

When the house is in a better state I'd love to start hosting again too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been on couchsurfing for a very long time but I lost access to my first account (here it is - a few more references there although the information isn't updated: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/londogs?action=show&controller=user_profiles). My best experience must be a full week in New York - I went there alone and knew nobody, but through couch surfing and friends-of-friends-networking, I barely spent any time alone and had the best of times. I've both hosted and been hosted.

Zainteresowania

Trying continuously to be less fooled by the capitalist, unequal, post colonial, racist, patriarchal, unfriendly, consumerist, competitive, prestige filled and now more and more fascist etc economical/political system. Have at times been active in the climate justice movement, the peace movement and the asylum rights movement. I think we could do this society thing a whole lot better.
