Name is Nick, I'm 21 years old and am currently in Voronezh Russia, volunteering as a teacher at a school to teach kids English!

I spent most of my childhood in Alaska, the last few years in Washington, and the last couple months in Russia.

The world is a beautiful place, and I want to see as much of it as possible.

What got me started on couchsurfing is my impending Europe trip I'm going to undertake with my sister after we are done with our volunteer program here in Russia. (Before this trip and research, I never had heard of CouchSurf. How sad!) It's a massive journey that's going to last 51 days, and we will be traveling across 11 countries.

Hopefully will be able to couchsurf most of the adventure so that we can meet you amazing people and forge unforgettable friendships along the way!

And after the trip is said and done, I want to get a place and be able to host couchsurfers back home in America, so I can continue to meet amazing people and make friendships I otherwise would never had had the chance to make. And also, last but not least, got to pay it forward!

Interests include traveling, hiking, biking, snowboarding, street boarding, TV shows, movies, and MUSIC. I can't express how much I love music. Play piano and guitar and they are the loves of my life.

Got my hand stuck in a gumball machine when I was the age of 4 at a Pizza Hut.
The fire department was called and came to dismantle the machine to free my hand.
