I have been travelling since mid teens and still have yet to see most of the world. I enjoy seeing new places while at the same time redefining travelling on a "shoe string"

I think everyone has some reason worth making the effort to meet them, my mission is to find that reason.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea of couch surfing, allowing people to meet others from around the world with little work! and best of all you don't have to end up sleeping in the street at the end of the day. I like to meet couch surfers and share stories and experiences from travels.

I am very interested in getting to know the cultures in every place that I travel. Whether it be food, clothing, or just the people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16 me and a friend were determined to see mexico so we saved up enough money for a one way bus ticket from Seattle to San Diego, spent a few days in Tijuana then upon remembering we only had bought the one way tickets down, hitch-hiked the entire way back up to Seattle, meeting very interesting people all along the way. We returned back home 10 days after we had left with mustaches and sumbreros.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn: I would like to experience other cultures first hand rather than having to read about them in books at home.

Teach: Through me, I would like to try and make a better image of Americans both who travel abroad and those that remain back in the States. As well as share my own experiences and hopfully give positive advice to other travelers in situations I have found myself in at times.
