I am a Vietnamese born and raised up in Germany. After High school, I decided to take a gap year and I truly had an amazing time!

It was a kind of "back to the roots" trip, coming back to my motherland as a "Viet kieu" (oversea Vietnamese). Also, I traveled for more than 4 months in South East Asia. Traveling over 10.000 km on land, hiking over 4.000 m altitude and diving 30 m under the sea - it was a one in a lifetime experience!

Now, I am studying abroad at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I was living in Vietnam for some time during my gap year, I joined CS meetings almost every week. I could never host surfers (yet), but I invited surfers to my home and I showed them Vietnamese crazy everyday life and taught them how to drive the moped like a local.

Also, I made really good friends with Couchsurfers in Malaysia (I visited them several times already) and in Indonesia.
