I've donated cash financially because I believe in the project and I look forward to hosting if I ever have a place of my own, and to volunteering too... if I have anything useful to offer. Also proud to add cooking for the Montreal Collective many years agao. Those guys needed a treat!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle, Toronto (through a pre-CS friend) Montreal, Ottawa Quebec and Newfoundland. It rocks my world, as have all of our hosts so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sang in a Greek ampitheatre, watched the purple lightening storms off Dominican Republic, got attacked by a Titan Trigger fish, climbed and swam through Rattling Brook Waterfall. Chased a multicoloured sunset across Newfoundland, Dodged a feeding frenzied shark, tickled a manatee's belly, wobbled drunkenly round the backstreets of Nassau's New Year's Junkanoo..

Got stuck, and sad, in Britain too long - looking forward to getting out and about more

Pornocracy (A nation, society of institution run by whores) its a real word.
Borborigamous (spelling??) - meaning extended or musical belly rumbling
Vomyopia - OK so I made this one up but I have to get it in common use for the dictionary to enter it. It is a name for the shortsightedness (myopia) caused by blurring of vision by involuntary tears when vomitting. Come ON it ROCKS!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am currently living with / caring for my mum, who is recovering well from stem cell transplant and chemo / immune-suppression.

So the final call on wether we entertain a guest is hers of course.
If not a bed - I can happily offer camping space, bathroom/laundry facilities, hang-outs round South Cheshire, Manchester (1hr drive) and Possibly Liverpool (1 hr drive)

Good on recommending the best places for jazz, cocktails, or tea and cake!
