I am fun-loving, interested in in arts and crafts, especially in making shoes by hand and working with leather. And I love travelling and good music! So far, I´ve lived in Germany, France, the USA and Israel. Hope to see more!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE

My appartment is very small and I am gone very often, but you are welcome! My guest bed consists of an air mattress and thick sheet. No luxury!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My craziest experience was surfing a couch in Israel - right in the orthodox Jewish town of Bne Brak.

Intereses

I´m really interested in finding out about different kinds of shoes and their ethnic roles and heritage, like huaratche sandals or even Cowboy boots and car tire sandals. I like to try different recepies and bake my own bread. And in my free time I restore antique handbags.

Música, películas y libros

Naturally, my favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye. Intelligent rebellion...ahh. Apart from that, I like lyrics from poets like Byron, Dylan Thomas and Keats. My favorite flim? The Fabulous World of Amelie, perhaps. Almost all the music I listen to is from the 70s - Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Janis Joplin, Neil Young.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Oh, so many things! Paddling the white water in West Virginia and driving a race car, flying "for lunch" with my uncle in his little airplane, running on the deserted beach in France, sitting in a little trailor being pulled by a tractor with 10 Thailandese... Walking through the costume storage rooms in the Bavarian State Opera in Munich... Sitting in the cherry tree at home and eating cherries until I was ready to burst... Having the most wonderful view of Dresden while camping under a bridge and winning a prize for my Abitur.

I´m pretty good at repairing sewing machines and at sewing. Sewing is my true addiction and I love to share my experience. I want to learn how to make shoes and how to fix cars.
