About Me

CURRENT MISSION

doing my final master diploma project project / enjoying student lifestyle

ABOUT ME

I heard about CS in 2011 from a friend and I immediately joined this community. Since than, I always try to travel via couchsurfing as it gives an unique experience and understanding of the place, culture, people.

PHILOSOPHY

My dream is to travel as much as possible to explore all the beauties that this world offer to us. For some years I had to stop travelling because of studies and faculty obligations, but as I realized that the system is running over me, I found a balance, so now I'm travelling again as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first guests were one couple from the US and one from Australia and it was a really nice experience. They were polite and lovely. We shared nice stories and I got to know how things work in these countries. I will definitely host again and have other nice experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did both hosting and surfing and it was great. Getting to know locals from one place is an incredible experience, descovering all the aspects about one city, culture,history.. Wonderful!

Interests

I'm interested in music, festivals, concerts, live music in general, outgoing, films, museum visiting, art, food, sightseeing, nature, architecture studying, swimming, beach-volley and sports in general and of course travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

The best movie that I seen was "One million dollar baby", it left a big impact in my mind. The genre of movies that I like - british humor, history, drama, fantasy... I like cartoons too and also documentary movies.

In music I changed often the genre that I liked, I used to listen to punk rock and metal, but that was a long time ago. Now I prefer jazz-ish music, soul, blues, swing when I draw my projects. When I go out to party my favorite genre of music is electronic, drum&bass, dub, dancehall, tech house, house etc. but I also like to find out about new artists and listen to experimental and different stuff. Nothing can be compared to live music, of course I like concerts, rock music, real vocals and real energy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing I've done is to realize that you have to be careful to not to be run over by the system and the way in which it forces us to live. It's not natural.
Be yourself, do what you like to do, don't follow money and power. Take care of your family and friends, pay attention on the outside, be better.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think we can all teach each other just by communicating and sharing experiences.
