Hello =) I'm Laura, 23, from England. Bimbling around the UK at the moment, in search of nothing much... staying in a few communities, doing some building and some permaculture things, eating, breathing... Have travelled quite a bit in Europe in the past, and this year ventured out of the continent for the first time to see some pretty incredible places east of here, with my wonderful friend Mary-Rose.

I studied architecture in Nottingham not so long ago, but aside from creating pretty drawings i'm a big fan of getting dirt under my fingernails and sawdust in my hair, and generally making nice things with my own two hands.

Well, I think that the world is full of amazing people with so many different backgrounds and stories and approaches to life, and couchsurfing is a beautiful way to meet a few more of them.

I tend to be interested by pretty much anything and everything - art and music and literature and history and cuisine and nature and meditation and walking and hitching and seeing the world and making the most of life!

Probably the best thing I've learnt is just to let life happen - I guess I believe that if we put a bit of trust in the world it will take us some wonderful places and show us some amazing things, we can sit back and enjoy the ride.
