Living a life without passion just isn't a life worth living. Be it in love, friends, music or causes. I'm always busy... but I love having a full and varied life with lots of wonderful people in it.

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Wow... too much to write in here! I have a hugely eclectic taste in music - I wrote for three rock magazines back in the UK but can generally say I love anything that branches away from the commercial plastic pop. Currently listening to a lot of John Butler Trio, Cara Dillon, Mono, Imagine Dragons and Seth Lakeman.

I love quirky independent cinema as well as anything that can make me laugh, cry or generally make me empowered. Since being in Korea I've taken up watching a weekly subtitled Korean movie - it's a highlight of my weekdays.

I love animation and particularly miyazaki movies. He's wonderful!

I'm a big reader too and love reading fiction and fantasy books with the occasional non-fiction to make me look intelligent ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A memory which will always spring to mind is kayaking in the Norwegian fjords - the moment where I realized that yes, I was a person who was capable, willing and free enough to travel and see this planet we call home.
