ABOUT ME

I'm 29, from Gourock (near Glasgow) and currently travelling in Greece. At the moment I'm working with sea turtles for Archelon; previous to that I worked for the Forestry Commission, volunteered for Loch Lomond National Park, and worked as a cajovnik in a tea house in Glasgow. I was getting slightly bored in Glasgow and decided to throw my arms around the world again. I'm loving my time in Crete at the moment; heading to Athens soon, then Spain via Italy and some other places. I love funk and soul music, I love to sing, dance and tell terrible jokes, and I love to find the beauty in everything and everyone, cheesy as it is:)

I just got started here so I don't really participate yet. Will do when I stay somewhere for a while though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met lots of couchsurfers through friends who offer their couches. All have been sound people, independent and happy go lucky :)

I have 15 minutes til I need to work. This will be updated soon! Mind you, that preying mantis was pretty cool. It was at Anidri, Crete. And the view from Profitis Ilias over the White Mountains, over villages and over the sea to Gavdos was ace as well. But that was just yesterday. Will add more soon!

I can do a few practical things....1) make tea of all kinds
2) identify lots of plants and animals 3) read people well 4) make people smile 5) make dreamcatchers 6) write nonsense poetry. This week's occupation is making flower wreaths :)
