I grew up on a farm in rural America, moved to Chicago for medical school, and now work in an emergency room in New York City. I'm fairly aerodynamic, fairly well-read, and fairly well-traveled. I value good conversation and am skeptical of traditional authority.

I resuscitated a random woman late at night in Dijon, France, before I actually knew what I was doing. But hey, it worked.

Also, playing soccer on the tops of mountains with a bunch of Peruvian village kids in the Andes was pretty awesome. Medical mission trips can be a great time.
