I am a 33 year old Artist chasing a character from my novel around the world in search of new cultures, experiences and expressions. Aside from my novel, I am on a quest for colors, exploring natural pigments to incorporate into my paintings.

Nothing like knowledge of a local to show you the little details that make a place tick, no? I am researching ground-level for my novel and thought a return to couch surfing would be an amazing place to gain a more intimate knowledge of the areas I explore.

Writing has my heart, it is my favorite medium. Satire and short stories come most easily to me, but I am currently working on more of an archetypal legend

I am reinventing an extinct form of darkroom chemistry which allows me to put my photography onto BIG canvases. Its more like alchemy than science and I love it
