About Me
Please, read the profiles. Couchsurfing is NOT a hostel/hotel replacement. It is a bit frustrating to receive certain requests. I'm more than glad to share my time/home with you, but some attitude is expected.
And please, copy/paste on requests is normal, but personalize the message and proof you read the profile.

CURRENT MISSION
Would like to meet new people! It's good to open to strangers, different cultures, habits, ways of living... Would like to meet them!
ABOUT ME
Hola!
I'd say I'm quite open and love to meet new people! Usually I get on well with everybody and at the end we end up by becoming friends, or so I think xD. I like both men and women, so if you have any inconvenient with that... Please refrain from requesting nothing. Needless to say... this is a whatever-you-are-friendly home... as far as you respect the same thoughts!
Born and grown up in Barcelona, now I'm travelling quite a lot in Spain and also a bit further (mainly north of africa). Have lived in Italy (Turin) for a year... One of my greatest experiences so far!
When I started my job i was “forced” to moveto Madrid for a couple of years... Quite an exciting city! Full of people and things to do! After barcelona... the best of Spain hahaha
But... as you could feel... i am more attached to Barcelona, so ended up convincing my boss to be able to settle down at the catalan capital... And there is where I live now!
But... Again... due to my job, i have to travel quite a lot, so it's kind of complicated to catch me there in Barcelona... But, hey! Don't hesitate to send me a message or coach request! If I'm available, i would love to meet you! Really! And maybe we can re-schedule the trip!
PHILOSOPHY
Let's move forward... and see where we end up? Not sure about my philosophy... Mmmm fancy a beer, wine, gin&tonic? Some tapas? Maybe that would be it... Vivir bien :-P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I loved the experience from the first time.. and of course, i have been trying to repeat the same successful experience further on!! Since i travel a lot (due to work) I try to get in contact with other hosts to have some drinks and enjoy a visit of their city... Having a local guide it is the best way to learn/enjoy a place ... (unfortunatelly i usually travel for work, so i have a hotel but not much time for enjoying).
As mentioned before, i don't select the option of coaching people because most of the time i'm away... But give it a try if you want!
The apartment is small, so either we share the bed (double size) or we toss a coin and see who sleeps in the sofa. If it comes to be summer... I offer my hammock too! I have a nice terrace where, besides sleeping over a jamaican-pattern cloth hammock, we could do some BBQ (a fish one, for instance!)... And just talk (and get slightly drunk... or a lot :p). Smoke a shisha or try to restore the plants... I am a terrible gardener... you will see
Nevertheless, CS is not a way to just find a free /extremelly cheap hotel or place to crash in. It is kind of discouraging receiving copypaste messages where no profile has been read or little attention to the home details... Just wanting a place to stay... so why not start my message with a “Hola majo!”...
In any case, the idea is to have a good time :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started my CS experience in Munich... during the Oktoberfest.. You can imagine, it impossible to find a thing there... and even worse if it is a last minute decision to go! It was quite a random and unplanned trip to Bavaria... I was travelling with a friend (Simon)... and this friend of mine knew someoe that could host us in Munich (Stephan). I wondered how the f**k he would manage such thing... and explained me the Couchsrfing ""project"". Since Simon had hosted Stephan at the US, they kept in touch... so well... they were friends from CS. I know, it's a messy story... but hope you get the point xD
I found that the idea was great! That someone trusts a "kind of unknown stranger" and welcomes it to his home... Great experience indeed! So when I got back home, i joined CS... essy, simple and marvelous!
I have been more active lately... Mainly trying to meet new people at the places I have to travel to. It's great to visit non common places where a tourist hardly would end up stepping!
And again... I love the idea that someone absolutelly unknown, can be trusted... And ends up trusting you... Unfortunately, we are becoming a mean, frightened and scared society.
But... on the other hand... it is sad to receive certain requests.
Ah, and OK, we are all short on money. So if you have a so tight budget that you can’t even afford some public transportation tickets... maybe (actually you should NOT) come to barcelona. It is an expensive city... and despite I not being too attached to money, i am not a charitable organization...
Interests
I'm interested in many things! Music, good food and better drinks... but mainly in meeting new people and making friends around the globe.
Of course travelling!
Really... I envy some profiles where the country visit list is huuuge! So, yes, i even put andorra and vatican city to make my list larger hehehe (but I have no frustrations, huh xD)
- challenge me
Music, Movies, and Books
60, 70 and 80's! Great Queen fan. Nowadays music... if filtered... some is amazing! NO reaggeton, trap or similar... actually not sure why i mention this here... that’s not music! Hahaha
Deffinitely a fan of Alt-J, Parov Stelar, The National, War on Drugs, Portugal (the man), Future Islands, Talisco, La Femme, Vance Joy... ARCADE FIRE... French79... a bit of everything and of course of fine and exquisite taste... according to my taste of course xD
Books... too few but to be honest I don't read as much as I should... want to recommend me one??
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Erasmus, going abroad... Arriving alone to Torino and leaving the city with so many good friends!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn languages! Teach a bit of them too!
Learn new cooking receipes...
... And of course meet different points of view, ways of understanding life or the before mentioned philosophy (vivir bien :p). To discuss and challenge m what I give for granted is what it is valid/correct... Or what i may think its wrong... When someone meets someone from a totally different, makes you, at least, reconsider your position! Is not that the key for a peaceful relationship??
What I Can Share with Hosts
