About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Painting my life day by day as well as I can. And, in doing so, making the others smile also by means of small things; even small things can change the world.

ABOUT ME

Few words cannot define me. If I need to say something about me I will pick three adjective: pleasant, pensive, and ironic. That is not all...

PHILOSOPHY

I try and try to know me and the world, but both me and the world are too complicated to be understood. And that's wonderful!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had so many CouchSurfing Experiences, I've hosted people from all over the world. What can I say? Great time! You can teach and you can learn so many things from everyone! I've never been a surfer but I would like to start surfing when I can.

Interests

I study philosophy and I am deeply interested in any cultural issue - literature, cinema, TV series, music, theatre, and other kinds of art. I love food - which is a cultural issue, in my view - in several nuances: eating, cooking, and studying it. I like the idea of experiencing different cultures and ways to live; this is the reason why I need to share my interests with other people to make them very interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not going to write a detailed list, I am rather going to roughly (and a bit randomly) pick three remarkable works for each category.

Movies: Citizen Kane (by Orson Welles), Lost Highways (by David Lynch), Zelig (by Woody Allen) .

Music: The Good Son (by Nick Cave), Kind of Blue (by Miles Davis), Don Giovanni (by Mozart and Da Ponte).

Books: Human All Too Human (by Friedrich Nietzsche), Voyage a le Bout de la Nuit (by Luis-Ferdinand Céline), Il Gattopardo (by Tomasi di Lampedusa)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Reality...

Teach, Learn, Share

Do ut des: teaching something, learning something. I can also offer long boring talks, long funny chats, or short moments of silence. During talks, chats, or moments of silence I could bring you to visit my city and show you how I live it. It is compulsory to fully experience the real Italian food.
